The morning was cold and bright
Everything was feeling right
I hooked up the horse to the cart
Onto the track, we do dart
Jeppy Ho is the gelding I will race
He has such a jazzy fast pace
We all are excited today
To me this is just like play
My family is cheering me on
The horses are all pacing along
I pull to the lead and never look back
Speed is something we don't lack
The race was a fun one
To the winners' circle now...
We just won!
