Helping to Harvest Olives in Esparto

Hard work is fun! :) Elizabeth and I both like olives, but hates them. She loves Greek food, but always orders it without olives... or picks them out if she forgets to order it without.

yes, it was hard work

the maid of honor at our wedding, Jenn, knew the owner from rock climbng. I hoped to get a connection to being able to get a 20-gallon drum to cure the olives for prepping. the olives we got today were green and I think were for getting olive oil but Jenn told me that they said to go back in December for black olives

wack them out of the tree and then sift them through chicken wire before sending them off for the next step.
