Computer Problem

Last year I got a used Dell computer and it's been fine but Friday the WIFI quit working (the rest still works fine). I tried rebooting it and shutting it down for some while to see if "cooling down" might help. Well, no such luck. Is there likely any hope for it?

WiFi cards used to be available. Not sure that Dell computers have that flexibility

Look for a "slider" switch physically located on one side or the other of that laptop. They are way too easy to slide into the OFF position. If that's not the case, have Windows try to diagnose your problem for you.

There should be a network icon in the bottom-right of the screen you can right-click on and choose Troubleshoot Problems. Failing that, go into Control Panel then Update & Security, then Recovery, then choose Reset This PC and tell it to save your personal files while it resets everything else back to factory specs.
