I've been using a couple of new Dell flat-screen monitors for several years, and they work for me. Here's the specs on one of them. Yes, I have dual monitors:

In the photo I sent, you can maybe see there are speakers on the side. I'm guessing that speakers with a monitor are not typical? I have some speakers up in the attic, if needed.
I'm using the new computer. Gee, what a pain to get it up and running with Windows 10, reinstalling programs and getting the WIFI and printers to work. I also don't like the way to find and use programs and files in Win 10.
