Posts Removed As False

I am very glad Trump made that order. [See below.]

Here is something [the WHO article] I just got. Many of my posts were removed as false which means, obviously, this WHO article is fake, right?

So I hope now that "big daddy" has spoken, all the fools wearing a mask can drop that part of their routine.

Subject: Communications Decency Act of 1996

Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, online companies have broad immunity from liability for content created by their users.

But that immunity is predicated on the idea of a neutral platform. By my recall, since the 1980s, it was common belief that a bulletin board service (the platforms of the time) was legally protected from being responsible for user content as long as they were hands-off. In other words, just a neutral platform, like Xerox, not responsible for copyright infringement or other lawsuits. As soon as they started regulating user content they lost that status. The 1996 Communications Decency Act, which gave immunity to internet platforms was almost certainly based on that tradition. Now that google/youtube, facebook and twitter are regulating content, they forfeit immunity from lawsuits based on user content.

That is what Trump is talking about, despite what you might read in the media."

"We now have hundreds of thousands of so-called 'cases', 'infections' and 'positive tests' but hardly any sick people. Recall that four fifths (80%) of 'infections' are asymptomatic (1) Covid wards have been by and large empty throughout June, July, August and September 2020. Most importantly covid deaths are at an all-time low. It is clear that these 'cases' are in fact not 'cases' but rather they are normal healthy people."
