Internet If SHTFby bill - 2024-03-09 09:17:21 ( in education, tech, computers, internet) [php version] rebuildIf anyone ever gets control over the DNS system, it will essentially render the Internet invisible. What you can do about it, though, is to keep a list of your favorite domains' actual IP address. When you go to https://friendsnews.com, you will see our IP address at the bottom. Of course, in my domain's case, that won't help... for complicated reasons. The big sites, though, can usually be accessed by simply typing in https://123.456.789. Let's say facebook.com's IP address is 123.456.789. If you put a 'https://' in front of that IP address as I did, it will often (not always) bring up that domain. You just have to determine the IP address through the Internet the normal way first -- BEFORE SHTF -- usually at the bottom of the main page, write it down, and then you can use it later, if necessary. Of course, some websites are bottomless. You can never get to the bottom to see the footer. similar posts here ... and elsewhere
