Wow! And just more proof that you cannot (never have been able to) trust the "healthcare" industry to have your best interest at heart.

"Dr. Otto Warburg discovered the cause and cure for cancer. In 1926 he was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Physiology for his cancer research, in particular, his "[d]iscovery of the metabolic differences between normal and tumor cells." In 1931, he received the Nobel Prize in physiology for his related work on the 'discovery of the nature and mode of action of the respiratory enzyme.'

A biography of Warburg states: "The award came after receiving 46 nominations over a period of nine years beginning in 1923, 13 of which were submitted in 1931, the year he won the prize." The biography actually underreports Dr. Warburg's accomplishments. Upon checking his nominations on the official Nobel Prize website, we find that Dr. Warburg was nominated for a Nobel prize in either chemistry or physiology 51 times."
