Who You Got?

The First Saturday in May is this weekend. Place your bets! I like 3, 12, 13, 6, in that order, but will probably hedge my bets (no pun intended) and play that as a four-way exacta box so it doesn't matter which order they finish.

  • 2 ? Happy Jack ? Doug O'Neill ? Rafael Bejarano ? 30-1

  • 4 ? Summer Is Tomorrow ? Bhupat Seemar ? Mickael Barzalona ? 30-1

I had 3, 6, 10, 12 and 15 in an exacta box, and 13 across the board in a separate bet. Things were looking good just before the finish line when 3 and 10 were battling it out, with 13 apparently in third though I didn't know that at the time. Then, number 21, who was only in the race because another horse had scratched, came out of nowhere on the rail and won it. Good for him, bad for my wallet. So, I lost all my bets. Luckily, just this morning a received an email from an African prince offering to return to me some unclaimed money I never knew I had. I know, that's usually a scam, but I have a good feeling about this! :)
