Got a tip, thought I'd share it here. Add the following to your HOSTS file (“C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts”):
#fix for ytimg.exe browser hang problem
74.125.162.39 static.cache.l.google.com s.ytimg.com
Then from a Windows command prompt (“DOS box”), run:
ipconfig /flushdns
