When coyotes (try to) attack

Well, I had an exciting morning. Who needs coffee to wake up? It was around 5:30 when I let our pug Joey out in the backyard. I’m standing there keeping an eye out for critters (there is no fence) when, sure enough, a couple of coyotes start trotting toward us, all casual-like as if out for a stroll, not down in a hunting crouch like the cat does when she’s stalking prey. I turned and yelled at them to get lost, which they did. I’m so scary. 🙂 It did get my blood pumping, though, "fighting off" wild animals! 🙂 Joey was oblivious to it all.

The Rainbow Ends in Sacramento
