Antibiotics kill good bacteria, too

"A healthy blood-brain barrier is necessary for keeping unwanted molecules and cells from entering into the brain from the bloodstream. Without a healthy blood-brain barrier, pathogens can pass from the bloodstream into the brain, causing illness and even death. The blood-brain barrier also maintains central nervous system (CNS) homeostasis and ensures an optimal environment for neuronal function and growth."

I’m standing there keeping an eye out for critters (there is no fence) when, sure enough, a couple of coyotes start trotting toward us, all casual-like as if out for a stroll, not down in a hunting crouch like the cat does when she’s stalking prey. I turned and yelled at them to get lost, which they did. I’m so scary. 🙂 It did get my blood pumping, though, "fighting off" wild animals! 🙂 Joey was oblivious to it all.
